Honesty Bar

The House Honesty Bar can be consumed by guests of legal drinking age and is as such, an honesty bar, in which guests must keep track of their usage and payable upon check-out (or monthly). Only when a drink is offered by the House Manager or Owner is this complimentary. Please complete the form below upon each beverage selection.

Spirits - While a standard pour for a drink is 1.5 ounces (45ml), we prefer drinks a bit stronger, so our pours/prices are based on 2.5 ounces (75ml). As with most bars in South Africa, mixers such as tonic are charged separately. We have a wide variety of bitters and herbs in the garden available for use. Liquor prices are based on the brand and indicated on the form above.

Tonics/Beer/Wines - All non-spirit options are available on a per bottle basis only. Bottles of wine/MCC are individually priced (on the bottle) with a selection of red, rose, white & MCC available.

  • All other wines are individually priced on the bottle with a selection of red, rose & white available.

Please drink responsibly and do not provide alcoholic beverages to anyone under the legal drinking age. Should visitors of guests consume items from the Honesty Bar, registered house guests who escorted them onto the property will be responsible for their consumption charges. At any time, management may temporarily or permanently restrict access to the Honesty Bar to some or all guests for any reason.
